You may recall that a few months ago I said I would be attempting to finish our Italian Holiday book by the end of the year. However, a couple of days ago I learned that the book printer is decreasing their page limit from 100 to only 80 from November! Oh, dear! I finished page 61 a couple of weeks ago. Now I must hurry up and somehow get the last 39 pages done in the next few weeks (and edit them) in my spare time. Talk about pressure. Not feeling too confident (with everything else that is happening) that I can do it, but if the adrenalin kicks in, who knows!

So, I will keep my post brief this time and simply share a few of the pages I completed a couple of weeks ago. Maybe it will inspire me.

Hi Lori! I'm visiting from Pamela Jo's (Theres just life) blog after her shout out to us! Love your layouts! What an adventure to live in Australia...someday I hope to visit! Take care!
ReplyDeleteI adore Italy, loved the photographs, hope you finish it.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderfulto have some new visitors to my blog! Thanks for stopping by Stephanie and Carole. I enjoy travelling vicariously, but nothing beats doing it for real! Except, perhaps, reliving the experience. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I may just be your friend in Italy - if so I am pleased that I have given you a reason to move. Thanks for your positive comments on my blog - I am having a wonderful time. I am alarmed by the change from 100 to 80 - I fear that will actually work out to be more costly - I have been planning my numbers of pages as I go! You will meet the deadline - but I won't. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteYes you are Barbara! I agree that the books will now be more costly, and I wonder if the heavier gauge paper will cause even more of a 'hump' from the binding. Guess we will find out soon enough. But I must get these 100 pages finished as planned. At least you now know to plan your books to fit the newer format as you travel along. Arrivederci!
ReplyDeletemore gorgeous pages! - you know I am waiting imnpatiently for this book to be finished!! LOL! - I can't wait to read it from cover to cover.
