Random Acts to Treasure

A few of my friends have told me of being on the receiving end of a 'random act of kindness' or a 'paying it forward' experience. Most occur in a drive through when they learn a stranger ahead of them has paid for their drink or their meal - and there is no way to thank them. How lovely.

There is something really nice about giving anonymously. Just to bring someone pleasure.



So I am featuring a layout that tells of when we were surprised by a thoughtful soul. Another reason I am posting this layout is because it illustrates how to create a page without a photo of the event. In this case I used another photo that served to illustrate an aspect of the story.

While scrapbooking is highly visual and features our photos (and the products we use to display them) too often the big stories of our lives are not told. So use photos that remind you of a special memory and tell the story. Or just tell the story - plain and simple.

Then your albums and books will contain some 'hidden treasure' too!
