Love is in the Air

For about a year I have been creating layouts for my good friend Janet Carr and her label Little Feet Digital Designs. It has been such a rewarding experience and in some ways has kept me to task while also giving me a happy place to go when I needed to play. Sometimes her kits inspired me to travel down a different road than I usually go, or in a different way than I usually travel. So, thanks Janet for letting me be part of your joyride!

And speaking of joy, Janet's soon-to-be-released kit "Love is in the Air" is filled with it! (One of the perks of being on a creative team is having access to kits before they are released.) I just have to share this one with you all now. Can't wait a moment longer!

This weekend I spent three mind numbing days scanning prints and negatives from 1994 in preparation for a book for my son's 21st birthday. One of the benefits of digital scrapping is that you can spruce up your old, faded photographs in the process! Anyway, after I had listened to the scanner for hours on end, I rewarded myself with this layout. It came together so quickly - almost without any effort. I think it was because I was so inspired by my memories and because the kit is chockers with papers and embellishments! Rest assured I will announce when it is out for sale. You won't want to miss it!
